Al Pacino – Acting Icon Battled Hair Loss For Years
Al Pacino has made a career out of playing characters that are coming unhinged, and now his hair seems to be doing the same thing (coming unhinged, not acting). The Academy Award winning actor, who has seemingly been able to stave off aging with plastic surgery and good upkeep, is starting to seriously show his age on top of his head. It seems that at times, he wears a pretty nice hairpiece to cover up his rapidly thinning bald spot (located in the front half of his head), so it’s not always evident. However, more candid shots of the Godfather star reveal that he really is losing the front half of his Italian head mop. He’s also starting to look a bit ridiculous because of the length of his hair, which he wears very… uhhhhh…. large sometimes (picture Robert Smith from The Cure). It seems like he does this in order to blend his hairpiece better, but it just makes him look like he escaped a mental hospital, fell into a tanning bed and then stuck a fork in a light socket. He would probably be better off just keeping his hair ultra short to cover up the thinning, but that would make too much sense, and therefore wouldn’t make him a celebrity.
