Hugo Weaving: You Can See The Red Skull’s Skull
Hugo Weaving, star of…well…everything (his filmography includes The Matrix Trilogy, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert), has had a receding hairline for quite some time. The Australian born actor, who can be seen most recently as “The Red Skull” in Captain America: The First Avenger, never had a perfect hairline, but in recent years, it’s receded to almost halfway to the back of his head, leaving him with a very deep “m-shaped” hairline. He’s in his fifties now, he’s never been one to play “pretty boy” characters”, and he’s not against wearing a wig for a part, so the hair loss shouldn’t hurt his career. Personally, I’m not worried about him. What I am worried about, is the fact that he’s part of a growing number of actors that are born and raised in Australia, and consistently play Americans on screen. If Australia decided to infiltrate our ranks as part of some plan for world domination that I assume would be conceived by a Kangaroo that sits in a swiveling desk chair and/or a koala that wears a graduation cap and a monocle, then we are screwed. We wouldn’t know what hit us until our president said “Oy! Yer ale en trouble now mates!”.
