When you need a quirky actor who’s just a little bit hispanic, and a whole lot bald, you call Ian Gomez. Yes, he looks a little bit like the guy that hangs out by the school but doesn’t have a kid that goes there, but sometimes that guy has candy and he doesn’t invite you into a van…so yeah, his skill is the candy and…whatever. The comedic talent who currently stars as ‘Andy’ on the hit show Cougar Town, has been lighting up screens with his presence and the shine off of his head for years; with roles on The Drew Carey Show, and Felicity. In real life, Gomez is married to Nia Vardalos, another comedian, who’s famous for writing and starring in My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Actually, that film is based on Gomez and Vardalos’ wedding, meaning that he loved a woman good enough that she wrote a movie about it. That troops, is how a bald man does things; so it’s with pride in my heart that I welcome Corporal Gomez to the Bald Army.
