Jon Bon Jovi has sold over 130 million albums over the course of his almost thirty year career as a musician, and has even won both a Golden Globe and a Grammy. With a career like that under his belt, it’s a wonder he’s so concerned about his going bald, but at almost fifty years old, he is. He’s admitted in interviews that his hairline, which has clearly been receding , especially at the corners of his forehead, is a concern to him. Considering his status as a sex symbol in the 1980s and his being an icon of the “hair band” era, this makes a little sense, but still, how does he have time to care when he’s probably so busy being really rich? He says that it’s because the hair loss is finally making him feel his age, but considering I’m half his age, less than a 1/100,000^th his wealth, and just as balding, I can’t help but not feel bad. Welcome to being bald Jon! It’s not that big of a deal. What is a big deal is that he’s under-respected as an artist…seriously…I really like Bon Jovi…stop laughing at me.
