Louis Gossett Junior: Awesome Bald Actor
With a career that has spanned over five decades, and includes an Academy Award, an Emmy Award, and two Golden Globes, but also almost never included hair, Louis Gossett Junior is one immensely talented bald actor. Best known for his role as a bald Drill Sergeant in An Officer And A Gentleman (the role won him his Oscar), Gossett has also played a bald boxer in Diggstown, a bald fighter pilot in Iron Eagle, and a even a bald alien in Enemy Mine (also a pregnant alien…that’s what I call “range”). His talent is only exceeded by his baldness, and his ability to always be called by all three of his names. Although he hasn’t been in the spotlight recently, he’s still showing up on screens in character roles in films like Why Did I Get Married. He also apparently isn’t aging, as he’s in his mid-seventies and looks almost the same as he did twenty years ago, bald head and all. Louis Gossett Junior: Timeless Bald Actor…with three names.
