Micheal Chiklis: There’s SomeTHING about his baldness

Sometimes life gives you lemons and you cry about them, other times you make some seriously bad, seriously bald, lemonade out of them. When you’re actor Michael Chiklis, you do the latter, and use your natural ability to not grow hair to make a career out of playing baldies. First gained the public eye in the early 90s as the title character in ABC’s The Commish, Chiklis won audiences over and got himself over four years of steady income by playing Tony Scali, police commissioner of a small town in upstate New York. He was a perfect fit as the lovable, doughy, and most importantly balding law man, father and husband. After bouncing around for a few years doing character work, Chiklis burst back on the scene as crooked cop Vic Mackey on The Shield. The role which saw Chiklis way more hardcore, way less doughy, and wayyyyy more bald won him both an Emmy and a Golden Globe, and led to him being cast as one of the most epic baldies of all. Chiklis was chosen to play “The Thing” in the film version of the popular comic book The Fantastic Four, and while the movies kinda, well, sucked, Chiklis, like his own head, shined. Michael Chiklis is sometimes badged, sometimes orange, but always bald, and for that, we love him.
