If Keith Richards dropped his demon seed into the wicked witch and had a child, it would look like Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx. Mötley Crüe was one of the biggest of the 80′s hair metal bands. Lewd, rude and tattooed. Nikki looked the rock star part in every way. He seemed to be blessed with the perfect rock star hair. A black thick, spiky mess of coolness.  His hair style looked like he slept hanging upside down with a gallon of aqua net mixed in.

Now in his 50′s Nikki is still rocking the same exact hair cut he did nearly 30 years ago. Only now his hair is starting to show his age. His hairline has been slowly creeping higher and higher up his forehead. His hair still looks very thick but you can really see it’s started receding. He’s resorted to wearing bandanas in just about every recent picture you can find of him. A sure sign he is covering something up. Can you say Brett Michaels? Some reports say Nikki went bald years ago and has been wearing wigs since the 80’s. Other rumors say he has had a hair transplant to keep his recession in check. We’re not so sure. It looks like he is simply receding to me as many men in their 50′s are.

Notice the picture of Nikki when he was younger and you can clearly see his hairline was a lot lower than it is now. You can also see in the pictures where he wears a head band that it covers his huge forehead meeting his hairline way on top of his head. He strategically has his bangs covering his forehead at all times. Nikki may have sold his soul to the devil to become a rock star but he’s human like the rest of us and isn’t immune to hair loss. Since Nikki has the same exact hairstyle he had 30 years ago it’s becoming more and more difficult for him to conceal his recession. I think Nikki is just too vain to let people see him balding, I doubt you ever will. He strikes me as a guy who will wear wigs well into his old age.
