In reality Paul has been wearing wigs for decades now. His hair started thinning in the early 90′s and he has been strategically hiding it ever since. First with different wigs and later on with an early hair transplant procedure. He had the transplant sometime in the early 2000′s along with his partner Gene Simmons. The transplant didn’t give Paul the fullness he wanted and needed to hide his thinning crown so he went back to wearing wigs on stage. In public he would often be seen wearing a hat. Recently Paul has been using the new lace technology hair systems. These are the best hair replacement systems money can buy. It’s very similar to what John Travolta is wearing these days. It’s very realistic and natural looking. The hair is weaved into a very fine lace that is glued on to the scalp. It’s great to see Paul out around the town sporting his new short hair style. He never looked better.
