Back in the day, there was a big debate over who was a better tennis player: Pete Sampras, or Andre Agassi. Sampras took the majority of their head to head match-ups, but people always pointed out that Agassi was better looking, and that he had awesome hair. Well as we’ve discussed before, Agassi’s hair wasn’t real, so it looks like Pete wins again as his receding hairline  and thinning bald spot was actually more hair than ole’ Andre was working with. Was Pete the best looking tennis player ever? No, but he was amongst the most unabashed about their baldness, and around here, that’s all that matters. Pete never tried to hide that he was balding, and still wears what hair he has left, and it’s lack-there-of, proudly. In a time when it’s been proven you could both play tennis, and wear a wig, Pete stayed true to his roots, and for that, we salute him. Pete Sampras, our favorite balding tennis star.
