As one of the most acclaimed directors in the history of cinema, Steven Spielberg has had a career that includes multiple Academy Awards, and has spanned over thirty years. A lot can happen to a guy in thirty years, the least of which is that he can lose his hair, and Spielberg has done just that. “The Beard”, as he’s come to be known, could also be called “The Hairline”, because as much as the hair on his chin has grown the last thirty years, the hair on his head has done the exact opposite. He hasn’t done a lot to cover up the six head he’s developed, other than wear a hat. Although, maybe destroying my childhood memories of Indiana Jones (aliens?? Really!? Screw you!) was his way of drawing attention away from his hairline. I would say that the baldness was karmic punishment for what he did my boyhood heroes, but if that were true, George Lucas would look like a Chihuahua.
