Tom Hanks’ Hair Through The Years
Tom Hanks is one of the greatest actors in the history of film. He can play anything from a soldier, to an AIDS patient, to a semi-retarded man, to a southern gentleman, and then play them all as the different personalities of an old lady. The only role he can’t play though, is that of a man without a receding hairline. Tom started his career in the 1980s, with films like Splash and Big, and had a full head of hair throughout the decade. However, as he hit his biggest success as a dramatic actor (He won Academy Awards for both Philadelphia and Forrest Gump)in the 1990s, he started to see recession in his hairline, mostly at the temples, but somewhat in the middle too. He didn’t let it stop his success though, and it still hasn’t. Through some miracle, or Propecia, Hanks has managed to keep his hair from receding too much in this century, and is still going strong on the acting front. Although i suspect that even if he went totally bald, he’d still light up screens. Talent like his doesn’t need hair.
