Billy Bob Thornton’s Transplant
Billy Bob Thornton had a big ol’ transplant. Is this even the same guy in a these pictures? Looks like a bunch of brothers but not like the same guy. What’s with all the hair colors? The transplant of course also makes a big difference. This transplant we are going to have to say was a success. Before the transplant you only see Billy Bob in a baseball cap or with some other head cover except for a very few occasions. Afterward, once he went back to his natural gray, the hair looks completely natural. Well, from what we have seen so far it looks good. He wears it well, letting his short-to-medium length hair come down covering up the hairline. This way you don’t see a transplant hairline that looks like the wig on a doll made with a sewing machine in China. Also, I think his doc had that artistic touch that managed to avoid the sewing machine look.

Jamie Foxx – Hair Transplanted Hairline?

Sometimes you just get carried away. Jamie Foxx proves that. The Ray star and Academy Award Winner was showing some serious hairline recession for a large part of his career, but in the last few years, things changed. He went from a five-and-a-half-head, maybe even a six, to a three! Nothing says hair transplant like your hairline becoming abnormally low. Recent photos had him looking less like he had a haircut and more like the haircut had him. He had more hair than face. Then something even more ridiculus happened. Foxx shaved his head bald, and in order to cover up his transplant scar (or as he claimed, to celebrate his 40th birthday) he TATTOOED THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! Jamie Foxx’s hair troubles prove that two wrongs don’t make a right, they just make your head look crazy.

Silvio Berlusconi – Womanizing and Transplants
Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian Prime Minister, aka Il Cavaliere – The Knight, has all the things swirling around him that a great Italian head of state would: power, greed, corruption, scandal, controversy, women and secret societies. He is a caricature of the Italian stereotype and all of his doings are tabloid worthy. One thing of particular interest to us here on baldcelebrity.com is of course his baldness and transplant. A change so dramatic would be impossible to disguise in the country where the paparazzi got their name. In 2004, Berlusconi was seen wearing a white bandana meeting with Tony Blair, Prime Minister of the UK at the time. That is strange the people wondered, what could he be up to? It didn’t take long to discover that he was hiding the marks from his recent surgery. Shortly after, his newly designed hairline was unveiled. Berlusconi has remarked about his transplant that a little hair is better than none and that he feels younger. It doesn’t look that natural to us but perhaps it helps the notorious womanizer fool the underage women he preys on into thinking he is a little younger than his actual 74 years. Worth a shot, No?

Brendan Fraser – His Pluggy Hair Transplant
Brendan Fraser started his career as a heart throb in movies like Encino Man (Viva Paulie Shore!) and School Ties (not viva Jew hating!), but it’s hard to keep that heartthrob status when you’re going bald. So since this is his unfortunate case, what’s Brendan doing to stave off the grip of balditude? He’s resorted to good ole’ fashion hair transplant surgery. Unfortunately for Brendan and fans of his brand of “Handsome but nerdy white guy get’s in zany situation” comedy and “Handsome but brilliant white guy go’s on family friendly adventure” action, the transplants don’t look very good. They have that doll hair appearance, and make him look less hunk, and more “guy trying to keep it together for one more chance at the big time”. So give it up Brendan, pull the plugs and proudly become a full fledged baldie! We are keeping the light on for you.

Bono of U2 Has a Hair Transplant
Bono finally found what he was looking for! A way to appear like he isn’t going bald. The U2 front man and all too public philanthropist has rocked a pretty sweet main of Irish head fur since the old days, and now as he gets older, he intends to keep it that way. He had solid work done, but looking at the pictures, you can tell a few things:
A) His hair is thinning for sure.
B) His hairline was at one point noticeably receding.
C) It moved forward again.
D) His “miracle hair” looks an awful lot like it was put there by hand.
This all leads me to believe that Bono has had a hair transplant, which surprises me. I figured he’s be less worried about his hair and more worried about real issues, like Darfur, or the starvin’ children, or that U2 is overrated.
