Jason Alexander: Bald Seinfeld Star…Isn’t Bald Anymore!?
It’s a dark day for the Bald Army folks…a dark day indeed. After years of mining his god-given talent, for not having hair, for laughs; Jason Alexander of Seinfeld fame has turned his back on his roots…literally. He proudly represented us baldies for years, playing George Costanza on the legendary sitcom; making jokes at his own expense, and taking on the role of one of television’s ultimate “every men”. However, he recently flushed it all down the toilet when he showed up at a charity poker event with (*gulp*) hair plugs (*vomits uncontrollably, punches self in groin, hyperventilates into bag, screams into it until it explodes, passes out*). There’s not way around this one folks; he was almost comlpletely bald on top, and now he has a semi-full head of hair. It’s too realistic to be a touppee, so the only conclusion is that he went under the knife and got a hair transplant. At least a hair piece could’ve been part of some grand joke he’s playing on us all, but a transplant, that’s just bald blasphemy. Consider yourself stripped of rank Jason, you’ve let us down.
Seinfeld, A Show About Balding
Who areeeeee these bald people? Well folks, Jerry Seinfeld is one of them, that’s for sure. The famed observational comedian and title character on Seinfeld never had to best hairline to begin with, but since his show went off the air it’s only gotten worse. He now sports about a six-head, and it seems to be getting worse, but he probably won’t do much to hide it or stop it from happening. Comedians in their fifties that are not longer on television tend not to be the most likely candidates for hair transplants or wigs. He will probably just let himself go bald and work it into his schtick. I could be wrong, but hair loss cover-ups just seem like something he would make fun of, not something he would do. He’s a few years off from going from balding to bald, but I’m going to promote him to the rank of Lieutenant anyway. On a side note: Anyone else think that he’s starting to look like an old cartoon mouse? Maybe it’s just me, but if he starts giving out sage advice and eating cheese I won’t be suprised. And don’t forget his triumphant sidekick bald celebrity George Costanza – Jason Alexander.
Larry David, Comfortable With His Baldness

Larry David is a name some of you might not be familiar with. Who is he, you ask? Well, he is one of the creators of Seinfeld, and the brains behind “Curb your Enthusiasm.” Larry David is known for his self-deprecation and well, for being bald.
If you’ve ever watched Curb, he constantly makes bald jokes about himself. He also thinks there is a conspiracy against bald people, who knows there might be. Larry hasn’t always been bald, but for a man that makes his baldness the topic of a lot of jokes, you sure can’t find many pictures of him with hair. We had to scour the net, but finally got one. It’s really amazing how different he looked. One thing you can say about Larry is that he’s comfortable with his baldness. You’ll never see this funnyman with a toupee.

Jason Alexander – Regular Bald Guy
Jason Alexander aka George Costanza is a good image of a regular American bald guy. He embodies that 1970s and 1980s bald hairstyle look where you let the sides creep out to medium length.
Nowadays you see most dome bald men shave it clean (most popular with men of African descent and bikers), trim it close (looks good with graying hair) and sometimes even a ponytail with the side and back strands. Not so Jason, he likes to keep it in the middle range. I don’t know that I would recommend that route but it at least goes to show that there is a middle ground in bald hairstyles and a little variety too. Maybe it is not so much of a style as a lack of style or lack of action, just a let it be, proud of who we are mentality. For Jason this was a great look for his Seinfeld character. And I think the case could be made for this style with a beard especially we might call it the Roman or Greek bald style.
That must be an easy job for the barber when he goes to get a haircut, there is only about 30% of the head of hair and you just measure a few inches out and snip snip your done. Of course shaving with the clippers would only take 15 seconds flat. I wonder if he still gets charged the same. Its not that fair.
As George Costanza, Jason also helped bring the topic of baldness to public consciousness in a few of the Seinfeld episodes. I think he has done very well for the “regular bald guy” role.
